Construction Resumes at Forest Lakes Golf Course |
Forest Lakes Country Club’s new owners are back on track for the redo of the golf course, new clubhouse, additional condos and approximately 11 new construction houses. After receiving final approval from Sarasota County to begin work on the golf course, the bulldozers arrived a few days ago busily removing pine trees and preparing the course for summer play. The old clubhouse has been raised and the course is closed until the work is completed.
Beginning with the two-story clubhouse, communal luxuries are available round the clock. At the 165-seat exhibition-style restaurant, residents will enjoy cuisine prepared by a chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. There will be dining areas inside and outside, overlooking the 18-hole, semi-private golf course.
“Golf amenities include a pro shop, private lockers for members, bag storage and private golf instruction. Families can take advantage of private pools and spas within the gated development, built on the grounds of the old Forest Lakes Golf Club at Beneva Road.”
Clearly an enhancement to an already lovely family golf course community, residents anxiously await the re-opening of Forest Lakes Club.
