It’s Really Football Season Now
Selling real estate in Sarasota Florida keeps me busy, but most of my friends know that during football season, I’m a little distracted. Florida provides exciting football teams in addition to its weather, beaches and cultural venues. This weekend I showed property and hurried back to my TV for some great action. I’m a huge WV and LSU fan. Our family lived in Charleston, WV for 17 years during the Bowden years. Nick Saben was probably a kid then. Smart guy Bowden, he went to Florida State to coach, who doesn’t want to live in Florida?
WV didn’t do so well against USF and FL didn’t fare so well against Auburn this Saturday. LSU, on the other hand, had a horrible first half with Tulane prior to the Florida game. My son walked by the tube and said: “What’s the matter, mom?” “You get so emotional!”
My customers, Cheryl and Kevin Colon, have showned me there are great Gators in Florida. The Colons and the Smiths, Gators and Tigers love SEC football. I baby sit Kevin and Cheryl’s beautiful Kita so they can attend a game or two in Gainesville. Now this weekend we’ll be on opposite sides of the stadium and as Andy Griffith would say: we have a “really big” game coming up in Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge. LSU vs. Florida! Please dont’ ask me to show property just this one day. Football and real estate are my passion — just this one day, can I take off? Please.
