Architects step up plans to reduce greenhouse gases in new homes
Katherine Salant of Inman News wrote an interested article in January of this year about the relation of a new home purchase to global warming. “Buildings are the largest source of the greenhouse gas emissions that are causing global warming, and in the United States, half of the building-related emissions are from houses.”
Architects have stepped up to embrace what they call the 2030 Challenge and home builders need to follow their lead according to Ms. Salant’s article. Read entire article.
