The 8th Annual Sarasota Film Festival kicks off on March 31, 2006 with an opening night film at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and a gala reception party following at the Ringling Museum of Art. 

Each year filmmakers, movie stars and special guests arrive in Sarasota to view films, attend Q&As about the films and the movie industry.  While visiting Sarasota, attendees shop, dine and wine from sunrise to sunset with festivities into the wee hours.  For a full list of information, Sarasota waterfront real estate for sale!
