[TODAY] Norris to Speak to League of Women Voters

Superintendent of Schools Gary Norris will speak to the League of Women Voters of Sarasota County about the one-mill tax extension today at Tournament Players Club. Sarasota’s renowned Kenny Soderblom together with drummer Chuck Parr, pianist Eric Doney, and Dominic Mancini on bass collaborate with guest soloists to present a fabulous evening of jazz entitled “From Blues to Fado and Back.” The Players Theatre, 838 N. Anita Wexler loves to paint bodies and this art exhibit will have quite a few of them featuring several series of Wexler’s work, including floras, figurative, masks, and even chairs which were featured on HGTV this year.
